NPS IFRS 16 App for Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advanced solution for managing lease contracts in full compliance with the IFRS 16 standard – from initial data entry to automatic transaction posting.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a comprehensive business solution designed for small and mid-sized companies, providing precise financial management. Based on this foundation, NPS has developed the IFRS 16 App, an extension that delivers full automation of lease liability and interest calculations, as well as tracking all changes throughout the duration of the lease contract. The application ensures accuracy, transparency, and full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), while enabling automatic posting of all related transactions within Business Central.

Functionalities

  • Creation of IFRS 16 lease contracts
  • Creation of a Lease Payment Schedule within each IFRS 16 contract
  • Automated posting of the Lease Payment Schedule based on due installments
  • Creation of a Fixed Asset directly from the Lease Payment Schedule, with a clear link to the specific contract and its schedule.
  • Reversal of due installments in case of corrections, and reversal of the entire Lease Payment Schedule when lease terms change.
  • Automatic creation and posting of a new version of the Lease Payment Schedule when lease terms change (e.g., installment amount or interest rate adjustments).
  • Automatic status update of the lease contract upon full settlement of the payment schedule
  • Provides a Lease Payment Schedule statistics view, displaying all open entries across long-term and short-term liabilities
